BYD, short for “Build Your Dreams,” is a globally recognized Chinese firm. Since its founding in 1995, it has evolved into a diversified multinational enterprise. 

BYD's prime strength is its robust R&D. Investing heavily, with nearly 110,000 R&D personnel, it leads in battery and hybrid tech. Its Blade Batteries, for example, boost EV safety and range. 

The company also excels in vertical integration, controlling the entire industrial chain from battery R&D to vehicle production. This cuts costs and guarantees quality. 

In the market, BYD is highly successful. In 2024, its monthly sales hit 502,700 units in October. It has expanded to 96 countries and regions, exporting 298,000 new energy vehicles from January - September 2024.
